Did you know that each one of our farms is completely volunteer driven? Want to get involved and take home delicious free produce while making new friends? Email hello@alleycat-acres.org to learn about the variety of opportunities available. We'll work to match your skills and interests to our on-going work.

We welcome people of all skill levels and abilities to get involved. At our weekly work parties, the Farm Coordinator is on site to give advice and walk everyone through each activity. Once people are oriented with the site, or if they hit the ground running with previous experience, they are encouraged to be involved independently.

Additionally, in 2017 we will be introducing more formal work shops for those who wish to learn a particular skill (i.e. tool sharpening, garlic braiding, tomato trellising). The work shop schedule should go public in April and be announced via social media, our website, our newsletter, and fliers.

Alleycat Acres currently supports three farms in Seattle. Each of our farms is managed and coordinated by a community member. If you live nearby and want to get involved in a specific farm, reach out to one of them directly:
